A good leader is servant-minded, always looking to serve, and always seeking the good of others.
A good leader has a heart that has been transformed by God. They exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit, that is, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
A good leader is compassionate because they understand the value of suffering and its ability to soften the heart.
A good leader is wise and uses their life experiences to know what to do and not do.
A good leader values justice because they understand we are all made in God’s image and deserve dignity.
A good leader is a student, always willing to learn because they realize they do not know everything and never could.
A good leader is submitted to Christ. Their will and spirit are so broken that they expeditiously follow Christ at whatever cost.
