1. Walking in Peace – Alex Jean

Why: I really enjoy the melody and rhythm of this song as well as Alex’s flow. The violin is also a pleasant touch.

Favorite lyric: More that I learned about You, then I learn about me, and I know how to function.

2. Carry the Word – Alex Jean

Why: The sample and beat of this song goes crazy. Alex’s lyricism is also super fire.

Favorite lyric: When I be reading your word, I be seeing the reason the devil afraid.

3. All I Need is You – ALiC

Why: This song is something that I can just vibe to. From the production to the rhythm to the lyrics, this song is beautifully crafted.

Favorite lyric: I told You I had problems, You said so what?

4. Steady – Cecily

Why: This song is beautifully written and embodies the intimacy of being in a relationship with God. The softness of the lyrics combined with Cecily gently singing over an acoustic guitar speaks to my soul.

Favorite lyric: Never annoyed, You’re never impatient… first to initiate and You’re always the first to say that I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you.

5. Surrendered – Kijan Boone

Why: The overall structure of this song alongside Kijan’s flow is exceptional. I also appreciate the amount of Biblical truth conveyed through the lyrics.

Favorite lyric: See I gave my life to Jesus, don’t get mad ’cause I move differently.
