He calls you daughter.
He invites you to come sit with Him. You don’t have to say anything. He just wants you to be still with Him.
He draws you close and shows you things. He gives you visions and insights. He shows you a vision of a sand dune in a desert that is sunny yet empty.
“What is this?” you ask Him.
He tells you, “Daughter, your life has been built on a faulty foundation that will not withstand what you will face in this life. Lies of inadequacy, worthlessness, not feeling worthy of love, criticism, perfectionism, fear, angst, and rejection are what you have built your life on. You see, if you were to build a house on this sand dune, do you believe it would last?”
“No. The house would collapse,” you reply.
He points you to Matthew 7:24-27.
He explains that because you’ve built yourself on a foundation of sand, you will not withstand the trials and storms of life. You will crumble under criticism and conflict.
“Come with me, daughter. I want to help you rebuild your life to last under pressure,” He says.
“I want to help you build your life on the truth that I love you. I want to perfect you in my love, so when you venture into the world, you won’t be quick to give up when you stumble or fall. You will be able to withstand because you will know who you are and whose you are. You will not believe the lies of those who tell you you’re not good enough. You’ll be solid and able to remain strong because you’ve built your foundation on Me.
Come, daughter. Come spend time with Me so that I can pour healing into your wounds and restore the life that was stolen from you.
Come, daughter. Let Me embrace you. Come, be My child and know that you are safe now. You don’t have to say anything. Just come with Me. Let Me hold you. Let Me love you.
Rest, daughter. Abide in My love. You don’t have to fight anymore. No more fear or striving. No more. No more.
Abba’s here now. I love you. I have always loved you, even when you didn’t believe it and even as you still struggle to believe it. But your struggle does not change how I feel about you. I love you. I. Love. You.”
