My name is Daija, and I am in loveeeee with Jesus. My greatest desire is to make Him known by sharing my experiences and answering questions that I had (and still have) as a new Christian.

As a child, I was always in church because my mom sang in the choir. Despite my background in church, there were still fundamental gaps in my understanding of who God was. A lot of times, I saw God as this angry, judgmental God who was going to send me to hell if I didn’t stop sinning.

These unaddressed ideologies contributed to my decision to stop going to church altogether by the time I was in high school. And so began my journey of finding out who God was on my own.

Although the journey has been bumpy, I’ve found a passion in sharing Biblical truth and personal revelation of who God is. My prayer is that anyone who comes across this blog will be pointed back to Christ with a greater reverence, curiosity, and love for Him.
